Elsie's pricing database is the first of its kind in our field, built to help you understand what your work is worth. Every entry comes from someone sharing what they charged or earned for one specific piece of work. The more of us who contribute, the better.

Pricing Database FAQs
Will my name and email appear in the freelancer pricing database?
No! Your name and email address won't be displayed alongside your submission. However, because entries include details such as role, location and experience, we can't guarantee that every submission will be completely unidentifiable. Please avoid including names or other identifying details in your answers.
Who can contribute?
If you've completed freelance or consultancy work, or held an employed role in female health, sexual health or a closely related sector, we'd love you to contribute.
What will I need to submit?
You'll be asked to share what you charged or earned for one specific piece of work or role, plus a little context to help others understand and compare it.
What if I don't have anything to contribute yet?
That's completely fine! The form you're sent includes an option to say you don't have a relevant rate or salary to share yet. Select that and you'll still receive access to the database. Please never add false information for the sake of gaining access.
What if I want to share multiple jobs or projects?
Please do! As long as you completed them within the past three years, you can submit as many as you like. Once you've completed the form, you'll have the option to submit another entry.
What's the best way to use the freelancer pricing database?
Choose the factors most relevant to your question rather than searching for someone whose role, location and experience match yours exactly. For example:
- Looking at a junior role in Berlin? Compare what people with similar experience are earning in that location without worrying too much about the exact sector.
- Considering an additional qualification in menopause care? Explore what people across the menopause space are earning, regardless of their location or seniority.
- Consulting in London with five years' experience? Compare your rate with consultants who have more and less experience to see where yours sits.
The database won't give you one definitive answer, but it will give you useful context to make a more informed decision.
What if no one has submitted my type of job before?
That's okay! Even if your exact role isn't listed, you can explore similar work, experience levels and rates in your location to find useful benchmarks.
Can I remove my entry?
If you'd like your entry removed, just email hello@veryelsie.com and request it, and we'll take it down for you.
